KITTEN MITTENS!
It’s hard to be too critical of the cable network that put “Justified” and “Louie” on the air (not to mention “The Shield” and “It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia”), but this is disappointing. “Lights Out” was a consistently solid show with a likable lead, and I think it had real potential.
Earlier this year they axed the criminally underrated “Terriers”, and I’m beginning to worry FX is going to start acting like HBO and cancel anything that isn’t a huge hit right away.
That’s why he’s The Professor.

Season 6 starts tonight! 10 pm on FX. Click image for official “It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia” website.

The first two episodes of Louis C.K.’s show “Louie” are now available on hulu, so if you didn’t watch it when it premiered now’s your chance to get caught up (mostly caught up — hulu is posting the episodes 8 days after they air, so Tuesday’s episode isn’t available yet).
This is a really funny show and it fits in well on the network that gave us “It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia” and “Archer.” It’s not for the faint of heart, but if you like your comedy on the twisted side it’s definitely worth watching.
(Forgot to mention: best theme song on TV right now.)
