    Hey DC Comics, can we pull the plug on the current version of “Green Arrow” and give Connor Hawke another try? The guy we have now isn’t Oliver Queen anyway, not really. He has none of Ollie’s personality or politics, none of his backstory or supporting cast. He’s a totally new character that isn’t particularly interesting. Starting the New 52 with Connor as Green Arrow would have been a much more interesting way to go. Instead of de-aging Ollie (again) and erasing his whole history (at least that seems to be the case so far), you could have re-introduced Connor as the long lost son of missing billionaire Oliver Queen. Imagine a Connor who goes right from the ashram to running Queen Industries and fighting crime in an effort to live up to the father he never knew. Unless all you wanted was to make “Green Arrow” into a property more suitable for a CW television series. Which I guess is what you’ve done.
